Johannesburg, also known as Jo'burg is the largest city in South Africa.
This is the commercial and industrial capital of South Africa.
Jo'burg is located on the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills, with large-scale gold and diamond trade. The city has also a large financial district.
The metropolitan area (including Soweto, Ekhuruleni,...) has more than 10 millions inhabitants. Crime rate is high, so you have to take care.
Johannesbrug has some of Africa's tallest structures.
Johannesburg is situated only 50 km south of Pretoria, the main capital of South Africa.
