Cape Town is Africa's most popular destination for tourism, with its beautiful natural setting, including Table Mountain and Cape Point. The port is a hub for ships in the southern Atlantic. His nickname is Mother City.
It is located in the south-west corner of the country near the Cape of Good Hope, and is the most southern city in Africa.

Cape Town is the self proclaimed gay capital of South Africa.
The Gay Village is situated in the heart of De Waterkant Village, where you can see lot of same sex couples. You can find there lot of trendy shops, restaurants, bars & clubs in the vicinity of Somerset street.
Cape Town has three gay beaches, including one naked beach.
Main gay event is the Cape Town Pride. It was scheduled to commence on 26 February and run until 7 March 2010.
The other large gay event is Mother City Queer Projects Costume Party.
